Our California offices’ 2025 CANstruction Food Drive was a tremendous success! We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed. Together, we raised over $15,500 in support of Feeding America and collected more than 2,000 lbs of canned goods, helping to combat food insecurity in communities across California. This initiative showcased the compassion, collaboration, and commitment that define our construction community.   A big thank you to our subcontractor outreach team for their hard work and dedication in organizing this event. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who participated, both within the organization and among our external partners, for their generosity and commitment to making a positive impact. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, our Chicago and Texas teams held #FoodDrive campaigns to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM).    Our #Texas team donated 126 lbs. of food yesterday to support HCCM’s Thanksgiving distribution to families and individuals in need. The center was filled with volunteers and community members picking up free turkeys and other holiday essentials; a true reminder of the impact collective generosity can make. 💛 🦃    Chicago’s virtual “Together, We Are Greater!” #Thanksgiving Food Drive has been running since November 1, and we’re proud of our team for raising $1,645, providing 4,935 meals to the Greater Chicago community. 🙌 Our #Chicago office’s food drive will run until #ThanksgivingDay. Exciting progress is underway at The James, a #SeniorLiving community in Irvine, CA! Our latest update showcases both the independent and assisted living wings of the building, as well as the U-shaped central courtyard taking shape at the heart of the project.   Once complete, The James will span 429,850 SF as a Type I-A, eight-story, Class-A senior living facility with two levels of subterranean parking. This project will offer 210 independent living units, 110 assisted living units, and 30 memory care units. Residents will enjoy a wide range of luxury amenities, including a therapy pool and spa, wellness gym, yoga and art studios, bar and lounge spaces, a theater, and outdoor spaces with BBQ grills, fire pits, and ample seating. We’re thrilled to share that Wind Creek Chicago Southland Hotel & Casino has been named Project of the Year by the Chicagoland AGC in the New Construction over $75M category!   Spanning more than 715,000 square feet across a 20-acre site in East Hazel Crest and Homewood, Illinois, the development features a 258,000 SF casino, dining and retail destinations, back-of-house facilities, and a stunning 16-story hotel, a full-service spa, skyline lounge, and an indoor water feature, as well as a multi-level enclosed parking garage. Beyond its scale and design, the project exceeded its 30% DBE participation goal, reaching 34.71%, underscoring our commitment to community impact and inclusion. This achievement, delivered through our joint venture with BOWA Construction, stands as a testament to collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship, setting a new standard for gaming and hospitality in the Midwest.
