Earlier this month, Chicago litigation associates and law clerks participated in a three-day, interactive deposition training. Partners Debra Bogo-Ernst, Matthew Thomas, Aaron Hersh and Skyler Silvertrust gave lectures on preparing for, taking and defending depositions. Associates put these skills to practice during mock depositions of witnesses played by professional actors, and received real-time feedback from Willkie partners, counsel and senior associates. Attorneys enjoyed mingling and playing darts at a reception, and the program closed with remarks by Craig C. Martin, Chairman, Americas.
