Our #SmilowStar this week is Stacey LaRosa, APRN. With significant clinical experience gained through her roles as RN to Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, Stacey has provided a wealth of knowledge to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Waterbury team over the last eight years. As a caring, kind, and proficient clinician, Stacey is always going above and beyond. She has an approachable demeanor and is willing to tackle the toughest of patient cases for all providers throughout the practice. She works diligently and efficiently, always fostering a positive working environment. She is prompt to address nursing concerns or questions at the drop of a hat, and her ability to make patients feel comfortable during an overwhelming time is admirable. Stacey sees the patient as a whole person and not just their diagnosis, always doing her best to help the patient maintain their sense of self. Stacey is nothing shy of an exemplary provider, and we are proud she is part of the Smilow family! Toby Bressler, PhD, RN, OCN, FAAN Kevin Billingsley MD, MBA
