Veterinarians show extraordinary compassion and expertise in caring for animals, often under demanding circumstances. Zoetis, together with the Zoetis Foundation, strengthens this profession through mental health resources, debt relief, scholarships, continuing education, and programs that foster connection and belonging. These efforts help ensure veterinarians feel supported in both the challenges and rewards of their work, allowing their dedication to continue shaping healthier lives for animals and the people who depend on them. We asked, you answered! Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are engineered to mimic pets’ naturally occurring antibodies. They are designed to be species-specific and provide highly targeted treatment, which can be useful in treating chronic diseases. Currently, veterinary healthcare teams can only provide palliative care for certain chronic diseases like kidney disease or cancer. Our scientists want to change that. They’ve spent more than a decade researching and developing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) with the goal of expanding the therapeutic options available to treat chronic diseases in pets. #VeterinaryMedicine
Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) could revolutionize how we treat pets with complex, chronic diseases—but how familiar is your veterinary team with them? Take our quick poll below to share your experience. Stay tuned for exciting new content about mAbs, coming soon! #VeterinaryMedicine

AMR is a One Health challenge, and protecting antibiotic effectiveness requires collaboration across sectors. In animal health, we’re committed to responsible use and preventative care, including vaccination programs and ongoing research into new solutions. At Zoetis, we know that healthy animals, people and ecosystems are at the heart of thriving communities. The Zoetis Foundation provides grant support to Veterinarians without Borders North America, to advance the organization's work in Torit County, South Sudan. By expanding access to veterinary services, providing livestock to resource-limited households and training farmers in best practices, the initiative is helping communities build lasting resilience. From March 2023 - March 2024, the program demonstrated measurable impact: ● 72% of participating farmers reported improved livelihoods ● 58% of participating farmers reported enhanced food security ● 500 farmers trained in livestock and animal health management This initiative illustrates how a One Health approach – integrating human, animal, and environmental well-being – can drive lasting impact and advance opportunities for livestock farmers and their communities in South Sudan and beyond.
