You can track job applicants by adding a tracking pixel to your jobs in LinkedIn Recruiter. You can add the source code to the end of the applicant tracking URL or include a tracking pixel during the posting process.
Here's a tip
A tracking pixel is typically provided by a 3rd party, such as Greenhouse, to track the views or conversions of your job post. The tracking pixel is embedded within the job post and a cookie is dropped on the candidate's machine when they view the job. Later, when the candidate visits your corporate career site and applies for the job, you'll know that the applicant came from the LinkedIn job post.
Important to know
To add a tracking pixel to a job post:
-
Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.
-
Click Job posting on the left rail.
-
On the Job posting page, click Edit to the right of Include tracking pixel in all job postings.
-
Enter the URL of the tracking pixel in the textbox.
You’ll need to refer to your specific ATS, such as Greenhouse, for the tracking pixel URL.
-
Click Save.
