Add tracking pixels to your Jobs

Last updated: 8 months ago

You can track job applicants by adding a tracking pixel to your jobs in LinkedIn Recruiter. You can add the source code to the end of the applicant tracking URL or include a tracking pixel during the posting process.

Here's a tip

We recommend using source codes for more accurate hiring insights.

A tracking pixel is typically provided by a 3rd party, such as Greenhouse, to track the views or conversions of your job post. The tracking pixel is embedded within the job post and a cookie is dropped on the candidate's machine when they view the job. Later, when the candidate visits your corporate career site and applies for the job, you'll know that the applicant came from the LinkedIn job post.

Important to know

Adding a tracking pixel during the job posting process will override any tracking pixel added by an admin on the Contract Settings page. Before adding a tracking pixel, contact your Recruiter Administrator to ensure no information is overridden.

If you are a Recruiter Administrator, you can add a tracking pixel to all posted jobs from the Contract Settings page.
