Turn on AI-assisted features as a Sales Navigator admin

Sales Navigator includes several AI-assisted features that are turned on by default, including:

  • Account IQ
  • Lead IQ
  • Message Assist
  • Ask for intro
  • Sales Assistant and messaging preferences (turned on by default if Account IQ and Lead IQ are turned on)

If an admin previously turned off an AI-assisted feature, as an admin you can turn it on again to allow users on your account to use the feature. Turning on an AI-assisted feature immediately applies to all users on the Sales Navigator account. You can’t opt specific users on an account into using generative AI-assisted features. For some features, including messaging preferences, individual users will still have to consent to use the feature.

To turn on an AI-assisted feature:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click Admin in the top menu.

  3. Click Admin Settings in the top menu.

  4. From the left pane, click AI-assisted Features.

  5. For the features that you want to allow, turn on the following toggles:

    • Sales Assistant. We’re gradually making Sales Assistant available and you might not currently have access to it. This feature is being tested and access may be removed at any time.
    • AI for Messaging. Controls Message Assist and Ask for intro. The Learn from message edits checkbox controls messaging preferences for Sales Assistant.
    • Account IQ
    • Lead IQ

Important to know

If you turn on Sales Assistant, you’ll see a pop-up explaining that Lead IQ, Message Assist, and messaging preferences are automatically turned on for users on your account, as these features are required to power the Sales Assistant experience.
