Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all IT-related activities, including network management, software development, and system administration.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware, software, and IT systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, data integrity, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime through effective disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and recommend solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Manage IT budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee procurement of equipment and services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend upgrades or new systems as needed.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place, including firewalls, antivirus software, and employee training on security protocols.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on IT performance, projects, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and database management.
• Proven experience managing IT projects, budgets, and teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA) are a plus.
