City of Moreton Bay has partnered with the Queensland Government Innovation Division through the Private Sector Pathways program, inviting fresh ideas to improve access, mobility and inclusion across our City. 💡 After a State-wide call for solutions and an Innovation Showcase, two standout start-ups have been selected to progress to a $100,000 trial with Council: 🏆 Briometrix – developing accessible footpath wayfinding tools to improve mobility and navigation across Moreton Bay. 🏆 Cerge – creating accessible digital journeys through venue mapping, sensory guides and virtual tours to help people ‘know before they go’. These six-month pilot programs will test innovative, inclusive solutions that support accessibility, tourism and community connection, helping Moreton Bay prepare for future growth and our role as a 2032 Olympic and Paralympic event city.
And what an innovative way to bring inclusive solutions together from all over Queensland to put our best case forward to improve participation across City of Moreton Bay. So cool! Cérge.tech were thrilled to be announced as one of two winners alongside Briometrix during the pitch even on October 9 at the North Leagues & Services Club. Incredible community engagement with the large audience attending! Our sleaves are rolled up and ready to go...
