Emergency Recovery Victoria’s Post

Mallacoota’s Hall is open again, refreshed, upgraded and ready to bring the community together for sports, meetings, celebrations and fundraisers.  Delivered by East Gippsland Shire Council, the redevelopment is another important step in the town’s recovery from the 2019–20 Eastern Victorian bushfires.  The upgrades make the hall more functional and accessible, ensuring it can continue to support community life for years to come. This project was supported through Emergency Recovery Victoria’s Local Economic Recovery Program, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Victoria under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
