Last week the first named storm of the 2025–2026 cyclone season barreled through the Top End - impacting communities from Cape Don and across the Tiwi Islands, down to Berkley River Mouth in Western Australia. It is the biggest cyclone the Northern Territory has faced since Tracy in 1974, and now the earliest-season storm on record. Our thoughts are with everyone in the path of that storm - we know that you will have a long clean up and rebuild ahead of you. At FRRR, our focus is on strengthening the capacity of remote, rural and regional communities before, during and after events like this. As we gear up to support communities nationwide to prepare for the coming season, and to stand alongside those already beginning to assess the impacts, we’re inviting supporters to join our Regular Giving Circle. Your monthly contribution will help us ensure that flexible, on-the-ground assistance is available when and where it’s needed most. 🔗https://ow.ly/bkOw50XyRus #NTCyclone #CommunityRecovery #RuralAustralia #RegularGivingCircle #CommunityGrants #RuralPhilanthropy #DonatetoHelp #CycloneFina
