Thank you to The New York Times and Tim McKeough for featuring our Point Dume Residence. Designed as a series of pavilions nestled within the landscape, the home reflects Jennifer Kell and Dominic Surprenant’s vision for living in constant connection with nature. Framed in steel and glass, and softened by wood, light, and stucco, the architecture invites movement between open courtyards and interior rooms—without a traditional front door to define what’s inside or out. As Steve Raike shared with the Times, “Even in harsher climates, integrating with nature and allowing the home to connect to nature is a really important element of what we do.” Point Dume embodies that ethos, balancing openness, resilience, and the ease of California coastal life.
