On 11 November each year, we pause to mark Remembrance Day, the anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War I. At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, millions around the world observe a moment of silence to honour the sacrifices many have made. It is the time that we remember those who fought, suffered, and gave their lives in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Their courage and resilience have brought the peace and freedom that we cherish today. The Victorian Multicultural Commission pays tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our nation, contributing to Australia’s defence and peace efforts. They deserve our deepest gratitude and respect, not only on this significant day, but always. We will remember them. Lest we forget. #RemembranceDay #NationalPride #ServiceandSacrifice #LestWeForget #MulticulturalVictoria #VMC #UnityInDiversity
