Queensland’s iconic beaches are bouncing back to their world-renowned beauty. 🏖️ Queensland regions impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred will have access to a funding boost to rebuild beaches, address ongoing coastal erosion, and improve environmental recovery efforts. Applications have opened for the 2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred Environmental Recovery Package: Coastline Rehabilitation Program. The program will support recovery and mitigation efforts that repair erosion damage and strengthen the coast’s natural buffering capacity against future severe weather. 💪 The program is jointly funded by the Australian Government and Queensland Government under the $74 million Environmental Recovery Package.
