Just 38% of dyslexics in the US believe their workplace recognizes their strengths, according to our latest research with Made By Dyslexia, and as a professional with dyslexia I want to drive awareness of this challenging gap. We have a huge opportunity to help professionals and businesses understand how to celebrate and support Dyslexic Thinking. In late October, during Dyslexia Awareness Month, we’ll offer a new, free LinkedIn Learning course created and led by Kate Griggs, the founder and CEO of Made By Dyslexia. We have also integrated more accessible tools into the platform, including Microsoft’s Immersive Reader to help with processing information - with options to listen to text aloud, or adjust how text appears by modifying spacing, color and more. Since we introduced #DyslexicThinking as a skill on LinkedIn, more than 22,000 members have added it to their profiles. And we’re continuing our partnership with Made by Dyslexia, supported by Virgin Group, to encourage professionals and businesses to recognize the value of Dyslexic Thinking skills and empower dyslexics in the workplace. You can also help by continuing to encourage an open dialogue by sharing your experiences using the hashtag #DyslexicThinking.

Love seeing this work you all are doing to normalize dyslexia. It really is a super power and the best companies will recognize this.

Can't wait to take this course Kate Griggs! Thank you Nicole Leverich for the reminder that while there has been progress, there is still more work to be done!
This is incredible. I wasn't aware that Linkedin was working on this type of initiative. Cheers to recognizing the challenges and championing inclusion.
