COP30 made it clear that resilience is at the centre of the global climate agenda.🪸🌍 From the C40 Cities' World Mayors Summit to the COP30 Brazil summit, our time in Brazil underscored how cities, partners and businesses are working to build systems that protect people, strengthen nature and deliver long-term value for communities. At the World Mayors Summit, in Rio, Ramboll and the Rambøll Fonden / Ramboll Foundation joined more than 2,000 stakeholders and 300 mayors to accelerate climate action where it matters most in cities. In Belém, UN Environment Programme and the COP30 Brazil Presidency launched the Beat the Heat initiative, where Ramboll is partnering to bring a new digital tool to cities. The tool enables them to: 🌊 Analyse flooding and heat impacts together in one model 🌍 Build stronger business cases to attract investment into nature-based solutions At COP30, our experts Ask T. H. Brüel, Signe Kongebro, and Thomas Frøyland, worked with businesses, civil society and public authorities on pathways to modernise energy grids, scale green fuels, and build resilient infrastructure for a secure, affordable and just transition. #COP30 #BeatTheHeat #UNEP #ClimateAction #UrbanResilience #LetsCloseTheGap
