Good afternoon everyone. We're here today to draw attention to a very important topic, as we do each year, and learn how to ask each other, are we OK? None of us are immune to life's ups and downs, and the support of people close to us can make a real difference as we navigate difficult times. Ohh yeah OK Day for Randwick Council is a really great annual reminder for staff to check in on their colleagues and not just their colleagues at work, but their their family and friends. Are you OK? Today is a really important day for around the council. It is an important day because it puts mental health at the forefront. Are You OK Day for Randwick Council means that it's how I start coming together, how we support each other and how their mental health and their well-being is so important to the organization. Just as any physical illness is an illness, people cannot snap out of mental illnesses. As much as I would love to do so, if it's a matter of yours or a friend or a family member and you notice that they don't seem to be quite themselves, seriously, it's on you to reach out and say so. You needn't worry about saying the wrong thing because if you're doing it out of the goodness of your heart, you're not going to. We really do look at trying to holistically look after our staff health and well-being and we hope that it it provides enough for staff to have lots of things that they can tap into to support their mental health and well-being through our Well Beings program at Randwick. We focus on mental health, physical health and financial as well. So there are a range of different programs that we offer. EAP, our employee assistance program is a huge one to be able to offer support to not just council staff but also their family members each year. And we put on the are you OK BBQ day. That's my favorite, where everyone comes together. What we do with our well-being program, which is very extensive, very staff focused and just the culture around with council.
