QuikDeck® in Poland – again! We’re excited to share Hünnebeck Polska Sp. z o.o. involvement in the renovation of the Szczecin rail viaduct on Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street – a project that demanded innovation and precision. The project posed significant challenges: The viaduct spans a deep gorge with a busy rail line, meaning that the trains must continue to run during renovation and construction. Precise planning and innovative solutions were essential due to the structure’s irregular geometry and the outdated and imprecise documentation. Together with the General Contractor, we carried out measurements of the facility, which the engineering team from the Szczecin branch and GTec from Kraków then used to prepare a 3D model and design the solution. Our QuikDeck® suspended platform system proved to be the perfect solution. It allowed safe and efficient access for renovation works without disrupting rail traffic — a rare and demanding combination. With the aid of the 3D model, we adapted the design to overcome structural irregularities and ensure flawless execution. And if you watch closely, even the ST'Air staircase from the ST60 system found its way into the design. 😉 A big thank you to Pylon - Generalny Wykonawca , the General Contractor, for their trust and collaboration throughout this complex project.
