When we set out to design the Waves Emotion LV1 console, we had one thing in mind to have the best sound quality that we knew how to deliver. The idea was to take processing power you would find in a big console and pack it into this small phone factor console. We wanted to create the most amazing sounding console and for that everyone. Classic encapsulates all the knowledge that Waves accumulated throughout the years into one device. Waves has the audio technology Grammy they're processing has been used all over the industry. So the idea of building a live sound console around those advantages was something that I wanted to be a part of our years of experience in signal processing in hardware and to make a product that we believe is second to none. Now we've put this all together into one system. Working on LV1 started by taking U all our know how and working with digital gain to create this mixing bus that has an enormous amount of headroom while keeping it clean and clear. The heart of a mixer are the mixed buses and we have many mixed buses in the LV1 all are summing buses in LV one are all using. Double precision 64 bits and eventually that what boils down to when you accumulate more and more and more and more mixed buses that makes a mixer. It adds together to to the sound that you hear from everyone. The mixer itself has exceptional sound quality. It has amazing summing. It has dynamic range, unbelievable huge headroom, lots of clarity. It's really just an amazing sounding console. So at some stage we've realized that we've had the other one software. Sir, we have the server and we had a host. What was missing in order to encapsulate this amazing product was actually an IO. This is where Rich Cabot comes to play. A technical genius. Yeah, my name is Rich Cavett. I've been in the professional audio business for about 50 years. When we decided to design the Waves Emotion LV1 console, we began with the Waves Signature Preamp. It's a preamp that is optimized. From beginning to end, for sound quality, for live sound, and we'll deliver the sound you want consistently. The design was done in a very balanced sense so that you get a signal chain that is not going to clip in any one area or be noisy in any one area. You get a signal chains very forgiving regardless of what gains you set and how you use it. There's no weak link in the chain. Every piece of that signal chain is optimized. With regard to all the other pieces of that signal chain, we believe we've created a product that won't deliver fabulous sound. The combination of having the LV1 disturbers the host and our own waves iOS created a system that was really unique in the industry. While traditionally a console processing is comprised of a few fixed tools in LV one, each channel mixing bus has a plugin rack that can be used for basic processing tools and to extend them much further without any limits. On this console there are eight slot rack of plugins on each channel, not just at each input, but on any bus groups, matrixes, auxes, master sections, the options are just endless. When we designed Everyone Classic, we had to make it strong and robust. The LV1 Classic is a new breed of mixing console. On the one hand, it's an innovative technological product that breaks the mold of traditional mixing consoles. On the other hand, it was critical that engineers would feel comfortable and familiar with the product. We went through several iterations of knobs, faders, encoders, and potentiometers to really achieve the feel the tactile responsiveness. That users demanded the fader cap design is something we're especially proud of. It features a highly sculpted 3D shape utilizing complex surfacing and design technique usually employed in automotive design. The console features a huge 21 1/2 inch touch screen, and the chassis was essentially designed around it with ergonomic and anthropometric considerations to ensure maximum comfort and usability. As the live mixing console, it's important that LV1 Classic stays robust and intact while moved around, so we had to take it into the most serious environmental test we could. We've shaken it up, we heated it up, we dropped it. We're all it over and over. We sparkle water on it, we turn it on and off more than you can ever think, and it still works and it makes a great mix. Everyone started from a dream and we were very proud of what we got here. The fact that Everyone Classic integrates everything into it will give you a new kind of experience. We believe we've created a product. It's going to make live sound engineers happy. Don't let the size of this thing fool you. It's an unbelievably sounding desk.
