What does it take to navigate the transition from General Counsel to Trustee or Non-Executive Director (NED) roles? We explored this question at our Trustee Network event yesterday morning, where an exceptional panel shared practical insights on building influence beyond the GC role. Our speakers Sabine Chalmers, Gillian Fairfield and Shrina Shah brought a wealth of experience from boardrooms and trustee positions, offering candid advice on strategic positioning, governance expertise and the skills that make a trustee or NED role truly rewarding. There were plenty of practical takeaways too.
