We’re excited to share that we were awarded the AIA Florida Southwest New Work Commercial Merit Award for the Babcock Ranch K–8 School Expansion, in partnership with DAG Architects. The Babcock Ranch Neighborhood School expansion was envisioned as more than just an addition. It reflects the school’s commitment to shaping the future of education in one of the nation’s most forward-thinking communities. This three-story, 63,423-square-foot expansion enhances capacity, modernizes support spaces, and strengthens the school’s overall identity. Inside, the new building includes thirty-six classrooms, administrative offices, secure entry areas, guidance and support spaces, faculty workrooms, and small huddle areas that foster collaboration and connection across campus. Designed with creativity and care, the expansion meets the demands of rapid growth while creating an environment where students are inspired, teachers are supported, and the community can thrive together.
