We received 490 comments in September’s public consultation period! All comments have now been published on our website at https://lnkd.in/gmMa9TUK. The Queensland Redistribution Commission is reviewing and adjusting state electorate boundaries to make sure each electorate has a similar number of voters. This makes sure that each Queenslander’s vote carries equal weight in elections. Now we will consider all comments and suggestions to inform the redistribution. The redistribution will be a complex mapping exercise and the proposed electoral boundaries will be published and opened to public comment before being finalised. The remaining stages of public consultation will be undertaken in 2026. #QRC #QldRedistribution #HaveYourSay
