Last week, our teams across Australia came together for our annual ‘Together We’re Better’ Day – a much-anticipated moment on the Frasers Property Australia calendar to connect, reflect and celebrate the work we’ve collectively achieved. This year, each state held its own event at an iconic project location, with our Executive Management Team presenting nationwide and local teams showcasing the unique character of their projects. In Queensland, the day featured an overview of a soon-to-launch project in New Beith, a blind honey tasting and even a visit from a few furry friends. In Victoria, the team heard from a panel including Sarah Bloom, Mark Cleveland, Jackie Zedda and Mark Gleeson, moderated by Tim Davis, before exploring the Bradmill Yarraville site to learn more about its rich history and future transformation. In New South Wales, the event was hosted at Ed.Square, where Kelly Miller, Felicity Armstrong and Cameron Leggatt spoke about the strengths and opportunities ahead for the NSW business. Attendees then enjoyed lunch in the Town Centre and guided tours throughout the Community Centre, Sales Centre and display suites. It’s important we create opportunities for our people to gather in person and these moments strengthen our culture, deepen collaboration across states and remind us of the impact we make when we work as a team. We can’t wait for more events that celebrate our people and our projects!

From youth mental health workshops to cultural celebrations, Ed.Square’s inclusive, resident-led activities foster connection, wellbeing and a strong sense of pride. With dedicated Community Development Managers and meaningful partnerships including Headspace, local businesses, Council and Multicultural Health, the community is supported by a network that encourages resilience and long-term sustainability. Established by Frasers Property Australia in 2017, Real Utilities has achieved strong growth over the years to become and today delivers carbon neutral energy to over 3,000 customers in the residential, retail, industrial and commercial sectors. Consistent with our strategy to redeploy capital to pursue new opportunities in our core markets, the time is right for us to divest Real Utilities to a specialist energy company with the scale and expertise to take the business forward, while ensuring our customers continue to be well supported. Our 9-month learning and development program for emerging talent, Emerge, will proudly be receiving an award at the LearnX Awards 2025 across two categories - Blended Learning and Soft Skills Training. Participants of our Emerge program, facilitated by Lisa Harrison, engage in a range of workshops, coaching, project work and experiences designed to grow their network and understanding of the Frasers Property business, as well as refine their skills in areas such as communication, influence, personal brand and leadership. Emerge will receive either a Platinum, Diamond, Gold or Silver award for each category, which will be announced at the official awards night on Wednesday 26 November!

With our experience in delivering communities in Melbourne’s West, it was an honour to sponsor the WoMEDA West of Melbourne Economic Development Alliance Summit last week. Organised by WoMEDA in partnership with The Age, it started with a gala dinner at the home of the Western Bulldogs, Whitten Oval, followed by a day of fascinating panel discussions at Werribee Park about unlocking Melbourne’s economic engine. World Homelessness Day is tomorrow, Friday 10 October, and A Home for All Foundation is supporting the cause with 'Double Donation Days' today and tomorrow. The new heart of the growing Frasers Property Australia Mambourin community in Melbourne’s west, Mambourin Marketplace features a full-line Coles Group supermarket and a fantastic mix of retailers offering a comprehensive range of food and beverage choices, health and medical services, fitness and beauty options, fresh food and grocery stores, and other important services. There are local businesses employing local people to reflect the local community, creating a place for people to connect and belong to. At the official opening yesterday, we welcomed special guests including Wyndham City Mayor Councillor Mia Shaw and Member for Werribee John Lister, Wadawurrung artist Chloe Chatterton, as well as plenty of local Mambourin residents keen to experience their new neighbourhood centre.
