NSW Health is one step closer to transforming healthcare delivery across the state. Nearly 200 staff from NSW Health’s 17 Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks have started training for the soon-to-launch Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) – a major milestone in creating a more connected, patient-centred health system. Staff undertaking training are being equipped to support the first users of SDPR in early 2026 across Hunter New England Local Health District, NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network and NSW Health Pathology (Hunter New England sites). To celebrate this achievement, NSW Health Secretary Susan Pearce AM joined senior leaders for a special event, presenting each participant with a native plant sapling from Justice Health NSW’s award-winning Bundaleer Project – symbolising how awareness and understanding will take root as we prepare for go-live.
