Senior Constable Steve Omotosho says he has always wanted to be a police officer, even from a young age. He joined the Service in 2015 to give back to his community and make a difference in people’s lives. Before joining, he completed the Multicultural Recruit Preparation Pathway program, which is available to recruit applicants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. He took a posting to Toowoomba shortly afterwards and has loved every minute since. Since making Toowoomba home, Senior Constable Omotosho has honed his skills in some unique hobbies, including plane-building, while raising his two children alongside his wife. The Queensland Police Service is looking for applicants who can provide the best policing service to the community and want to make a difference, people from all backgrounds and cultures, from across Queensland, nationally and internationally. If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding career head to policerecruit.qld.gov.au
