You need to manually do this outside of codemcp: create a directory, git init and touch codemcp.toml in it. It might make sense for us to support a custom tool to do this, but it'd be important for it to be permissioned differently than codemcp itself since you'd be allowed to write in arbitrary directories.

Unfortunately, my prompting isn't good enough to make Claude stop hallucinating commands that don't work lol.

I'm probably going to add a codemcp cli tool for administrative things (that the LLM shouldn't do without permission) like this
