Delighted to announce this news. Our investment and purchase orders accelerate Zuri’s next development milestones and secure its European manufacturing base. Congrats to the team led by Michal Illich, which has delivered the best ROI for capital invested to date that we have seen across the sector. With a hybrid range exceeding 700 kilometres, Zuri now eclipses earlier European eVTOL leaders focused solely on battery-electric concepts. Following the setbacks of Lilium and Volocopter, this partnership positions Zuri and AAMG as Europe’s strongest advanced-air-mobility contenders. It anchors a new industrial and supply-chain base for advanced air-mobility development across Europe. #AAMG #ZuriAerospace #HybridElectric #VTOL #AdvancedAirMobility #SustainableAviation #RegionalAirMobility #CargoAviation #ElectricAviation #Innovation #FutureFlight #eVTOL #Aerospace #CleanTech #GreenAviation #AirMobility #AviationPartnership
Something extraordinary is preparing for take-off. After the disappointment of losing out to Archer to secure the IP and assets of Lilium and restart that program we have dusted ourselves down. Following the weekend of 11th Oct, we took a moment to step back and review the sector with fresh eyes. We determined that there is a far more compelling opportunity, one that provides a class leading range for its commercial VTOL airframe, alongside a family of unmanned VTOL aircraft. On the 15th Oct our senior team members flew in from Luton, Amsterdam and Munich to visit the target and meet their team in person. Yesterday, Friday 7th Nov, we committed to binding terms to fund this project through to certification. The capital originally allocated to the Lilium rescue will now be deployed here, in a program we now believe has even greater potential. Sometimes the silver lining can eclipse the original plan. We believe this is one of those moments. Stay tuned for further information being released this week via news outlets. Some of you might be able to guess the deliberately blurred out aircraft... #advancedAirMobility #AAMG #eVTOL #AirMobility #Innovation #SustainableAviation #FutureFlight
We are deeply disappointed and frustrated by the outcome announced earlier this week regarding the sale of Lilium’s intellectual property to Archer Aviation for €18 million. Over the past months, Ambitious Air Mobility Group has invested more than €1 million in due diligence, legal, and transaction costs. We submitted fully compliant offers for all assets of Lilium GmbH and Lilium eAircraft GmbH, initially for €20 million secured with a bank guarantee, then revised to €23 million by 1 October, and finally increased to €30 million after the formal cut-off. We can see now that the administrators favoured a fragmented approach selling the IP separately and disposing of the tangible assets via auction. We believe this will result in a significantly lower overall return for creditors and a major lost opportunity for investment into the German and wider European advanced air mobility sector. AAMG was prepared to invest €250 million to revive and complete the MSN1, MSN2, and MSN2B prototype aircraft. The fact that both Archer and Joby Aviation pursued the intellectual property confirms the underlying technological value and innovation of the electric ducted fan (EDF) architecture. We now turn our focus back to our core programme: the development of strategic vertiports integrated with sustainable energy nodes enabling vertical flight operations while providing renewable energy to surrounding communities. These sites form the foundation of a scalable, sustainable, and revenue-generating ecosystem for advanced mobility. In parallel, we are progressing partnerships with other aircraft developers, some exciting announcements expected soon. We extend our thanks to our partners エアモビリティ株式会社 / AirMobility Inc. and advisors, GRUB BRUGGER Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB for their tireless support and strategic counsel throughout this process. While we congratulate Archer on their acquisition, we also note that maintaining and defending a portfolio of over 300 patents and IP is no small task. To achieve meaningful ROI, the IP must be applied, not merely held as a competitive barrier. Whether Archer can deliver any commercially viable, certified aircraft before more efficient, quieter, and better-performing entrants such as Joby remains to be seen. At AAMG, our belief in the future of electric ducted fan aircraft and the promise of sustainable, decentralised aviation infrastructure, remains stronger than ever. #AdvancedAirMobility #AAMG #ElectricAviation #Vertiports #SustainableEnergy #eVTOL #FutureFlight #AerospaceInnovation #AirMobility #CleanAviation #EnergyTransition #Europe #Technology #Archer #Joby #Lilium
We are pleased to confirm the signing of the trust agreement and the receipt of the Asset Purchase Agreement along with the annexes detailing the assets that are being sold in regards Lilium. We are now carefully reviewing with our legal team GRUB BRUGGER Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB #lilium
The Dutch company has taken an important step in the insolvency proceedings of the German aircraft developer. After concluding a trust agreement, it received the draft of the purchase contract of the assets as well as the annexes, which include intellectual property rights, technical data and physical goods. Ambitious Air Mobility Group AAMG thus has clarity about the possible purchase object Lilium for the first time. However, AAMG CEO Robert Kamp emphasises that there are still considerable risks. These are currently being legally scrutinised to secure guarantees. Only then do you want to weigh up opportunities and risks against each other. In the face of high capital requirements and burdens on creditors, Ambitious Air Mobility Group remains cautious. https://lnkd.in/eZyXwNce
