Hello loved ones!

It doesn’t seem possible, but in February of 2016, we will have been married for ten years. 

To celebrate, we will be returning to the scene of the crime – St. John in the US Virgin Islands. The woman who married us the first time around, Anne Marie Porter, has agreed to do a renewal of our vows to celebrate the occasion. Emma says she wants to be the flower girl and William says he guess he will be the ring bearer (“what’s that Mommy?”)

Since no one got to be there the first time around, we would like to invite you to join us this time!

We plan to hold a little ceremony on the beach with a casual celebration to follow. We have a line on some villas that will sleep 8-10 people and will help organize accommodations for anyone who can come. Staying in villas will also allow us to gather for meals etc. We have not narrowed down a date yet but are looking at early to mid February or late-March/early-April during Montgomery County spring break.

Aside from celebrating, St. John is an amazing place to spend some time. 60% of the island is a US National Park, and there are a myriad of beaches, restaurants and historical places to  visit.

We wish we could afford to fly everyone down and pay for your accommodations, but since we haven’t hit the lottery just yet, we will have to forego that plan.

We know what a huge ask this is – both in time and money – and will not in any way be the slightest bit offended if you can’t make it. This is an extremely low-pressure invite –  we will take an easy no and will have a beer with you next year sometime to celebrate our collective joys.
