At our latest event in Munich, “𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲,” we gathered with members to reflect on how Europe can turn strength in innovation into global impact. The conversation made one thing clear. Europe’s scientific depth, engineering talent, and mission-driven founders give the region a unique chance to influence how the world tackles climate and deep tech challenges. Thank you to UBS for hosting and to our panelists, Dr. Peter Schniering, Gerrit Jurilj 🇺🇦, Christian Meinerding for sharing their experience so openly. Also, thanks to our moderator Anouk Zarah Harde, for guiding a conversation that felt both realistic and optimistic. Moments like this strengthen the community pushing innovation forward. If you’d like to learn more about Founders Pledge and how we can help you make a real impact on the world’s biggest challenges, reach out to Lara Raven, our EMEA Growth Lead.

We exist to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and the charities making the most difference in the world.
About us
We are a global nonprofit empowering entrepreneurs to do the most good possible with their charitable giving --- Members pledge to give a small percentage of their personal proceeds to the charities of their choice following an exit, and the community also meets up for dinners, forums and talks exploring the latest news at the intersection of charity and technology. Founders Pledge is bridging the gap between the private and social sector, by encouraging entrepreneurs to apply the same rigour and thoughtfulness to their philanthropy as they do to their business. We also provide research, consultancy and support around every donation, so that pledgers can feel confident that their funds are going to charities that are evidence based, transparent, and impactful. Membership and all services provided, including events, online content and research, are completely free, meaning that 100% of every donation made goes directly to the members' charities of choice. Some risks are hard to see until it’s too late. That’s why JB Rudelle is focused on building resilience now. He supports our Global Catastrophic Risks (GCR) Fund because this decade is uniquely decisive. With the rise of advanced AI and growing geopolitical tension, investing in global resilience is one of the few levers we have to reduce the risks that could alter humanity’s course. 🔗 Read how members are giving for long-term impact: https://lnkd.in/eeHnsfZZ 🔗 Donate to the GCR Fund: https://lnkd.in/e9YrQHDd

Thrilled to welcome Founders Pledge as our newest partner using Chariot Disbursements for safer, faster & easier grant payments - for everyone involved! 🥳 If you’re not familiar, Founders Pledge provides a DAF solution to entrepreneurs - over 2,100 of them that have pledge $12 billion to Charity 🤩 When I asked Travers J. Oliver, their Head of Philanthropic Services, why they made the move to Chariot he shared: “Our members are entrepreneurs—they know a good product, they create good products, and their expectations are high. We need to meet that standard. Chariot helps us deliver a best-in-market experience by making our grant payments faster, safer, and far less repetitive for the nonprofits we support.” Our team has been working incredibly hard to deliver a new standard in grant payments, so it makes me so proud to see it recognized by other industry leaders. We have more exciting partner announcements comings in the next few weeks - only becoming more and more compelling for all nonprofits to get on Chariot and feel the difference! It shouldn’t be a slow, painful process to get paid by DAFs and other platforms - see how great it can be with a solution built for and with nonprofits - not just grant makers 🤝 Please reach out if you have any questions! #philanthropy #donoradvisedfunds #nonprofit

Four years ago, we first warned that the high watermark of climate action would not last forever and that philanthropy should invest more robustly into solutions that would work when needed most. Two years ago, we heavily expanded our work in building broader political coalitions to get ready for a totally predictable yet underappreciated turn in the political fortunes of mainstream climate action. This year, we have seen how necessary this was and how much better we, collectively, could have been prepared had climate philanthropy and the climate movement more broadly prioritized building broader tents rather than betting on a permanent 2020-2022 vibe with progressive climate action sweeping the US and EU. It's time to invest in approaches that are robust to risk and to learn from our failures in this year where the "climate reset" became a literary genre. https://lnkd.in/esWH-RCG
