At the end of October The Canmaker Summit took place in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. The Canmaker Summit is an annual meeting of canmakers, fillers and suppliers, bringing together companies and individuals from the global canmaking and filling community. Last week, just before The Canmaker Cans of the Year Awards were announced, publisher of The Canmaker, Allan Sayers inaugurated veteran canmaker Bev Page into The Canmaker Hall of Fame. Joining him was Brazil’s eminent canmaker Antonio Teixeira, who was also awarded the honour of induction into The Canmaker Hall of Fame. The tribute was in recognition of their “outstanding contribution to the canmaking industry”. Both received their honours to great applause. #canmaking #metalpackaging
