Moral injury is very real and sadly prevalent in far too many workplaces. When a workplace puts you in conflict with your moral compass the load can be very hard to manage.... Dr Nikki Jamieson is an absolute champion and this is well worth attending @
We're extremely excited to announce our next webinar with Dr Nikki Jamieson! This webinar will be all about 'moral injury', including defining moral injury in the context of workplace and occupational stress, distinguishing it from #PTSD, #burnout, and vicarious trauma. We will also explore common morally injurious stressors across high-risk roles (e.g., healthcare, emergency services, social services, defence, justice) examining the psychological and systemic impacts of unresolved moral injury on individuals, teams, and organisations. Finally, evidence-informed and lived-experience-led approaches to recognition, prevention, and repair will be shared, as well as moral/ethical leadership and trauma-informed organisational practices that mitigate risk and promote recovery. As always, tickets are free for ASTSS members! Get your tickets here: https://lnkd.in/g_VD_Nv9
