One year ago, Hurricane Helene swept through the Blue Ridge Mountains—the home of our farm and our people.⁠ ⁠ In the storm’s wake, our community faced deep loss, but also showed profound resilience. Neighbors came together. Roots held strong. And just as the land regenerates, so too does the human spirit.⁠ ⁠ At Gaia, we carry forward these lessons of strength, interconnection, and care for one another. 💚⁠ ⁠ Today, we pause to honor all who were impacted, and to express gratitude for the farm team, families, and broader community who continue to nurture hope and renewal.

Last week, alongside Kiss The Ground, we hosted 'Rooted in Regeneration' at our farm in Brevard, NC, bringing together leaders, retailers, local business owners, and advocates to celebrate the power of regeneration. Together, we explored how regeneration takes root: 🌱 Honoring farmworkers and strengthening food systems 🌱 Protecting biodiversity through responsible sourcing 🌱 Innovating with transparency and integrity 🌱 Collaborating with like-minded partners like Applegate, Alter Eco, Brooks Wine and Rodale Institute and Floradix USA This work doesn’t end on our farm. Each of us has a role to play in creating a healthier future - for people, plants, and the planet. Together, we can show the world that wellness, when rooted in purpose, is a movement capable of true transformation. 🌍

🧘♂️ Monday mornings on the farm start on a restorative note with a 30-minute yoga session open to our entire crew; seasonal teammates from Mexico, full-time field staff, and our hardworking mechanics. In the cool indoor space, we target the muscles most taxed by recent tasks: stretching backs and hamstrings after harvest days, then move into breath work, balance poses, and a brief, grounding meditation. The result? Stronger bodies, calmer minds, deeper sleep, and a crew refreshed to nurture the plants that nurture us. 🌿
