Green Plains was proud to host Oscar Munoz, former Chair and CEO of United Airlines, at our Omaha headquarters for an incredible conversation on leadership, resilience, and rallying teams around a shared purpose. Our team had the opportunity to engage with Oscar on a range of timely and emerging topics. He also reminded us of the impact that simple, foundational principles can have on an organization’s success: building genuine relationships, leading through action, and fostering trust to accelerate shared results. These insights will continue to shape how we work and lead.

A proud day for Green Plains! We were joined by Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen at Green Plains Wood River to celebrate the start of carbon sequestration across our three Nebraska plants. Together, these facilities will capture and permanently store approximately 800,000 tons of biogenic CO2 each year while producing nearly 300 million gallons of low-carbon ethanol annually.

We’ve successfully commenced carbon capture and storage operations at our York, Nebraska facility, with biogenic CO₂ now being delivered to the Tallgrass Trailblazer pipeline for permanent sequestration. This achievement reflects disciplined execution and a team-wide focus on optimizing every part of our platform to drive long-term value. https://bit.ly/4n0Zf7v

California has taken a major step forward in advancing cleaner and more sustainable fuel. With the approval of E15 sales, this policy change is expected to absorb millions of bushels of corn, providing vital support to American farmers. At Green Plains, we’re proud to promote renewable fuels that empower farmers, strengthen communities, and drive a more sustainable future for all.

We’ve taken a meaningful step in unlocking near-term value from our low-carbon operations by signing an agreement to monetize Clean Fuel Production Credits from our Nebraska ethanol plants. A term sheet is in place to expand the program to additional sites later this year. https://bit.ly/3IdhSXr
