ISANA Academies had the pleasure of hosting the UCLA Latino Alumni Association this past Thursday at our central offices in Koreatown. The association’s vision is to uplift Latino Bruin achievement and celebrate the diverse, ever-evolving UCLA community and its impact beyond campus. The event was hosted by our own UCLA alumni— John Vargas, Chief of Operations, and Raul Alarcon, Chief Academic Officer. We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen connections, celebrate shared heritage, and support the next generation of leaders. #UCLA #LatinoBruins #ISANAAcademies #Community #Education #BruinPride

We’re grateful for the opportunity to participate in last week’s Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC) Conference as panel members! Thank you to everyone who attended our session—we hope to see you at the next one. To learn more about our participation, check out the links below. ISANA Academies was proud to take an active role at the conference. Dr. Rob J. Thrash, Director of Pupil Services, and Raul Alarcon, Chief Academic Officer, led a powerful workshop titled "Elevating School Climate: A Framework for Equity and Belonging." Their session focused on addressing systemic inequities in education, highlighting the challenges faced by students of color, English learners, students with disabilities, and those from low-income backgrounds. The presentation deepened understanding of the root causes and impact of these disparities—and offered strategies for building a more inclusive and equitable school climate. https://lnkd.in/g_Uhuzq2 https://lnkd.in/gNR_p8gE https://lnkd.in/gYP5WPFz #ISANAAcademies #CSDCConference #SchoolLeaders #SystemicInequitiesInEducation #ISANAPride
