Henderson Community College Welding Technology students put their skills to work for a great cause! Students from both morning and evening classes designed and built new soccer goals for the Webster County Youth Soccer League! Using GMAW (MIG) in 5G and 6G positions, they practiced precision welding and fabrication while giving back to their community. Special thanks to Rebecca R. Caliendo, GOTS Coordinator and Welding Instructor, for leading the project, and to Karolann Greenwell, Webster County Youth Soccer League Commissioner, for partnering with HCC to make it possible. #KCTCS #HandsOnLearning #CommunityStrong
