We’re excited to share a major project update from Distel Circle Housing, our latest modular affordable housing development in Los Altos, with EAH Housing This five-story, Type III community will bring 90 modular residential units to the area, built over a mass timber CLT (cross-laminated timber) podium— a sustainable alternative to traditional concrete. Kinsol Timber Systems and #NibbiSPS are currently setting the CLT panels, which will form the timber base that supports the modular units above. The ground floor will include amenity spaces and a garage. Great work, everyone! We’re excited to celebrate another award win! This time, for L.A.’s Bruce Court, recently awarded Best Architectural Design in the Detached 2,000 – 3,000 sq. ft. category at this year’s #SoCalMAMEAwards! 👏 At Bruce Court, design works with the grade, not against it. Our teams embraced a site with a 50 percent slope, using their keen understanding of the Los Angeles Municipal Code and Hillside ordinances to create two distinct home styles — one that steps down, placing living spaces below the garage, and another that rises, placing them above. Sierra Crossing is a haven for youth transitioning out of foster care. It’s a home for families overcoming homelessness. It’s a place that offers support for those navigating life’s challenging circumstances.
