We were proud to have our Director of Military Services, COL (Ret.) Rick Chavez, MS, serve as a featured speaker at The Whole Man Men’s Wellness Summit this past weekend. The event brought together community leaders to address men’s emotional, physical, and mental health while creating space for meaningful conversations and support. Laurel Ridge remains committed to being a resource for our community. If your organization is interested in partnering, hosting a presentation, or learning more about our military and veteran programs, please reach out to us. Laurel Ridge Treatment Center was proud to be represented at the 100 Club of San Antonio’s 23rd Run to Remember Memorial 5K, honoring our fallen first responders. Our Assistant Director of Business Development, Dora Bailon, attended on Saturday, November 15, to show our support for the families, survivors, and the community that continues to carry these legacies forward. This event brings together runners, first responders, and community partners to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are grateful for every opportunity to stand alongside organizations who serve with heart, courage and dedication. #RunToRemember #100ClubSA #HonoringHeroes #CommunityStrong

Our Patriot Support Program team was proud to volunteer at this year’s American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes event. Hosted by the American Veterans Center, this three-day gathering brings together our nation’s most distinguished and decorated veterans to share their experiences and lessons on leadership with service academy cadets and ROTC programs from across the country. This year’s participants included more than 40 World War II veterans and over 30 veterans from the Korean, Vietnam and Post-9/11 eras, as well as first responders and survivors of the September 11 attacks. The conference also provides opportunities for veterans to record their stories, ensuring their legacies of courage and valor live on for future generations. We were honored to represent our Patriot Support Program at Mission Resiliency, support the American Veterans Center and stand alongside the heroes who continue to inspire our nation.

Smoking is often tied to stress, trauma and coping. The Great American Smokeout reminds us that healthier coping tools are possible and support makes a difference. If you are considering quitting, you don’t have to do it alone. Help is available, and healing is possible. #GreatAmericanSmokeout #BehavioralHealth #HealthAndHope

Our teams brought the heat at our Chili Cook-Off. From savory to spicy, everyone showed up with incredible recipes, big smiles and plenty of friendly competition. These moments remind us how strong our culture is. When we come together to connect, laugh and share good food, it brings out the best in all of us. Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to every team member who cooked, judged or stopped by to taste. Your energy keeps Laurel Ridge a great place to work and an even better place to heal. #ThisIsLaurelRidge #ServiceExcellence

If you wouldn’t drive 50,000 miles without an oil change, why ignore your mental health until you’re running on fumes? Your mind needs maintenance, too. Rest. Boundaries. Support. Real check-ins. Don’t wait for the warning light. Pay attention early. Take action when something feels off. Mental health is health. Maintenance is strength. If you or someone you know needs support, call Laurel Ridge for help. We’re here 24/7. #MentalHealthMatters #SanAntonio
