The whole process of planning was incredibly rewarding and it was exciting to be able to interact with our elected officials. Some of my closest relationships in the program have been from the amazing team I was partnered with to plan the retreat. I was also on the fundraising committee for our community project. Together, we coordinated fundraising events, managed construction timelines, secured in-kind donations, and partnered with community organizations to create a lasting impact for the students and staff.
