StriveTogether recently highlighted L4L's early literacy work: https://lnkd.in/eiXmp5da The feature underscores how metro Atlanta is making progress by scaling effective practices already happening in our region. Our work shows that when communities coordinate around evidence-based practices, meaningful change follows. 💡 Literacy & Justice for All In partnership with Atlanta Speech School, this initiative aligns early learning centers, birthing hospitals, and K–5 classrooms around the science of reading. In the first participating district, Marietta City Schools, students have grown at five times the rate of the state. 💡 Atlanta Vision Project Students who need glasses lose months of learning each year. In response, L4L is partnering with Vision To Learn, other providers, and school districts to ensure nearly 50,000 more children get free glasses at school over the next three years. 💡 Learning Through Bright Spots L4L's work is powered by our partner Bright Spots - organizations and strategies that are having outsized effects for children furthest from opportunity. We are grateful for their commitment to children in metro Atlanta.
