We're making room for people in the modern workplace.
About us
At ROOM, we are reimagining the modern workplace. Let’s face it, the workplace has been failing businesses and its workforce for years with unnecessary distraction, lost productivity, and overall employee dissatisfaction. It’s time for a change. The modern office needs to be rethought and redesigned with people in mind. Here at ROOM, we know people are the most important asset in any organization, so we put them first. We design from the perspective of our community, putting ourselves in our customers' shoes to create the space needed to bring their ideas to life. We’ve set out to launch a fast, cost-effective alternative to complex construction with modular, purpose-built architecture that allows teams to shape and then reshape their work environment with ease. It's time for a better way of working.

Hybrid work has forced many offices to adapt to fluctuating inhabitants. ROOM, which delivers soundproofed, sleekly designed meeting pods and easy-to-assemble phone booths, started by solving pain points for customers dealing with too much noise and not enough privacy. But the company soon learned that its products also offered office workers versatility for maximizing productivity.

For Ryne Raymond, Director of Workspace at FanDuel, opening new offices in LA and NYC in just a few months meant ensuring the workspaces were optimized for each team's unique needs. He does so by implementing valuable, real-time feedback from employee surveys. One of the requests? More privacy. "Recently, Raymond has received more feedback asking for places to take calls and have one-on-one meetings, so his team dropped in 10 phone booths and five meeting pods, both from ROOM, which only required sprinklers and power to fully install. He notes that that's one benefit of relying on modular furniture rather than hiring architects to shift the physical space: "It becomes a furniture change versus a whole rebuild." Thank you to Michelle Peng for sharing more about the benefits of using modular systems like ROOM on Charter Communications. And thanks to Ryne Raymond and FanDuel for looking to ROOM to help optimize their workspace. Read the story --> https://lnkd.in/g4Zh2jAQ

With the working world still adjusting to hybrid work, businesses face a constant balancing act to create collaborative cultures that drive an uptick in office attendance, while also designing workspaces that offer privacy for ‘heads-down’ work or meetings.
