Yesterday, DCAS Commissioner Louis Molina joined First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro and Donovan Richards of the Office of the Queens Borough President to announce the creation of the Queens Holocaust Memorial, a new public space dedicated to honoring the six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust, and the survivors who rebuilt their lives in our city. Located at Queens Borough Hall, this memorial will stand as a permanent site of remembrance, education, and unity, ensuring future generations never forget the lessons of the past. DCAS is proud to aid in the effort of this important project, helping create a space that preserves memory, inspires reflection, and brings communities together.
