Beginning November 11, 1919 as “Armistice Day” one year after the armistice had been signed to end World War I, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the day, along with a moment of silence at 11 A.M. In 1926, Congress passed a resolution to make Nov 11 an annual observance, and it became a legal holiday in 1938. Following World War II and the Korean War, the day was changed to  honor veterans of all wars, and the name “Veterans Day” was officially used in 1954. To all of our Veterans, we are eternally grateful for your sacrifice and dedication, and we salute your service and strength. #VeteransDay #ArmedForces #SaluteToService

Today we want to highlight Dawnn McCullough, PMP® McCullough, the General Manager of S4 Inc. , which was recently acquired by Knexus .  Dawnn is a proud veteran of theUS Armyy, where she served 2 tours in Iraq as part of the 101st, and where she met her husband Brandy! After her military service, Dawnn received an IT degree fromKaplan Universityy,  and joined S4 in 2018. Since then, she’s played a key role in program management and proposal development, helping lead mission-critical efforts across the federal space. In her spare time, Dawnn has a self-proclaimed obsession with buildingThe Walt Disney Companyy themed LEGO Sets, and is an avid reader of true crime , WWII historical fiction, and (her guilty pleasure) romantasy novels. Her happy place is Disney World, and taking her grandchildren to see Mickey Mouse. Dawnn builds Disney Legos and dives into romantasy novels. How do you unwind after a long week?
