  • How to adapt LLMs for real-world, specialized use cases The conversation around LLMs is shifting from general capabilities to domain-specific performance. This Thursday, we’re joining the Artificial Intelligence Society Golem at Warsaw University of Technology for a session dedicated to these challenges. Patrycja Cieplicka, our NLP & LLM Engineer will deliver a lecture on “Adapting LLMs to domain-specific tasks”. It will cover the full adaptation pipeline, including preparing and selecting domain-relevant datasets, designing prompts for specialized tasks, applying fine-tuning and pretraining techniques, and evaluating outputs using both classical metrics and LLM-as-a-judge methods. If you’re in Warsaw and want to learn more about practical techniques for building domain-ready LLMs, join the session.

  • Scaling quality assurance for Reddit, Inc. fast-changing ecosystem  Reddit wanted every new feature to work smoothly for millions of people using the platform each day. Together, we built a manual testing process that caught real issues early, from missed edge cases to functionality gaps that could affect performance. By validating functionality, performance, and usability across releases, the team strengthened product quality, cut post-release fixes, and kept users’ experience consistent no matter how fast Reddit evolved. See how Reddit and Solvd refined QA to support one of the world’s most active social platforms: https://hubs.la/Q03SNHnj0

  • Commerce is becoming multimodal and customers now expect experiences that adapt to them, not the other way around. A new type of shopping experience is taking shape, one where customers move naturally between talking, showing, typing and scanning. Multimodal commerce brings these moments into one flow, helping people find what they want without needing to switch channels or start over. Solvd helps companies build multimodal systems with the right guardrails, expertise and engineering. In this latest article, Solvd CTO Skylar Roebuck explains how multimodal commerce works and why anticipating a customer’s needs is becoming one of the most valuable services a brand can offer. • How NerdWallet built a faster, smarter QA foundation NerdWallet sought to scale quality testing without compromising delivery speed. They needed a framework built for scale, capable of running fast, reliable tests across web and mobile.   To make that possible, we built a QA framework together, which changed how testing was conducted across the company. It automated 95% of test cases, reached 90% regression coverage, and improved sign-up statistics by 100%. The new framework removed repetitive manual tasks and gave engineers time to focus on meaningful improvements.
