  • Learn from the source. This April, 2026, we’re joining BetterCans and The Ohio State University for A Young Packaging for Future Generations, a seminar focused on real engineering and practical insights on can production.   We return with two technical sessions: one on aluminum cup and can body forming, the other introducing end making. We’ll break down the fundamentals, tackle key challenges, and share innovations driving today’s top-performing can plants.   We look forward to connecting with students, industry newcomers, and professionals who want to deepen their understanding of canmaking from those who live the process every day.

Learning From The Source! Learning from the source refers to the process of using primary sources to understand a topic, like the engineering art of making and processing two-piece aluminum cans for beverages. Learning from the source is crucial because it offers insights, patterns, and a deep understanding that novices lack, gained through specialized knowledge and real-world experience. Learning from the source allows for more accurate, relevant, and credible information, providing context and depth that enrich understanding and help in making informed decisions. We look forward to seeing you in April, 2026 at “A Young Packaging For Future Generations”. Hosted by BetterCans, LLC and The Ohio State University. #canmaker #aluminum #canmaking #beverages #training #metalpackaging #cans

  • Last week in São Paulo, our team joined canmakers, suppliers, and innovators at the Brazilian Aluminum Can Summit 2025, the leading Latin American event for the aluminum can industry. Our own Paulo Cretes took part in the session “Innovations in the Aluminum Can Industry,” sharing insights on design evolution, consumer perception, and the technologies shaping the future of canmaking. This forum continues to highlight how technology, sustainability, and collaboration are shaping the future of canmaking across Latin America and around the world.

  • We’re pleased to recognize our parent company, Toyo Seikan, for earning Bronze in the Beverage Two-Piece category at the 2025 Canmaker Cans of the Year Awards. The winning 185 ml aTULC aluminum can, developed for Georgia Coffee (Coca-Cola Japan), achieves approximately 13% body weight reduction while maintaining full performance through advanced CBR technology. As part of the Toyo Seikan Group, we continue to support global innovations in sustainability and high-speed canmaking. Photography courtesy of The Canmaker / Jonatan Martin Morales
