Types of membership
How to be part of the College from medical school to retirement.
- Fellowship Fellowship of the RANZCP is granted to doctors who have successfully completed the RANZCP training program and overseas-trained specialists who have successfully met the standards of RANZCP Fellowship.
- Affiliate membership Affiliate members benefit from the educational opportunities, advocacy, projects and development work the College undertakes.
- Associate membership Trainees in the Fellowship Training Program and SIMGs on a Specialist Pathway to Fellowship are automatically granted Associate membership.
- CPD only membership Medical practitioners who are not members of the RANZCP but participate in the College's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
- International Corresponding Member Membership for specialist qualified psychiatrists living outside of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
- Honorary Fellowship Recognition of exceptional and prominent contributions to psychiatry and mental health by a person who does not otherwise qualify for Fellowship of the RANZCP.
- Join PIF Join the RANZCP’s Psychiatry Interest Forum (PIF) and stay in the loop with the College’s activities and opportunities.
