  • A physical space may hold our bodies, but it's so much more. It is where we gather, connect and hear each other’s stories. On Friday we’ll unveil the ‘Journey of Connection mural’ in the courtyard of the Aboriginal Health Lounge at our Wyndham Vale campus. Created by Aunty Susan Kuhl with the help of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, the mural highlights the Lounge as a culturally safe place for connection. Aunty Sue notes: “This mural is for the next generation coming through. I want them to be proud of who they are and where they come from.” Click the link for a preview: https://lnkd.in/gT9TkBHY

  • Recognized for Innovation We’re honoured to announce that we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist in the Victorian Premier’s Design Awards 2025! Our Optimised SMS Reminders service has been recognised in the Service Design category for its impact on clients and staff, and innovation. As the judging panel noted: “This project shows that design excellence is not just about using the newest technology. It is about applying thoughtful, user-centred design to improve systems that people rely on every day. It is a strength of the project that this work was prioritised amongst other new design priorities, knowing that improving efficiency and experience here would ultimately result in improved care for clients as staff time is freed up through focus on the backend.” This optimisation is a practical example of our Well for Life 2030 strategy in action—helping us deliver better care for the people we serve and supporting our staff through smarter systems. 👉 Learn more about the pillars guiding our work, including Digital Health, here: https://ow.ly/fA9I50XqSML
