We’re excited to share that our CSR Style Guide Campaign Creative has been awarded 🏆 Gold in the 2026 Graphis Inc. Design Awards — a globally recognised benchmark of excellence in advertising and communication design. This recognition underscores the strength of our strategic design thinking and the impact of a rigorous, insight-led creative process across national brand and product campaigns. For this project, we developed a comprehensive visual system spanning campaign identity, typography, colour palette, tone of voice, image creation and messaging hierarchy. Our approach balances bold, inspirational photography with clear, accessible language to build confidence and clarity for consumers engaging with CSR’s product range. A huge thank you to our team and collaborators whose expertise shaped this outcome. During Saturday Indesign this year, Living Edge brought together 20 leading architecture and interiors firms to reimagine the iconic Magis Puppy – creativity unleashed in support of Guide Dogs Victoria. Our entry, RUFF RUFF is inspired by materials found in an atelier. Round head pins are applied as a pattern of raised dots spelling RUFF RUFF inviting touch. Fabric offcuts (our favourite Paul Smith from Maharam!) have been reimagined into a contemporary Elizabethan Ruff – a once exclusive adornment, now a contemporary expression of playfulness. The hands-on making process was a celebration of creative play, and collaboration that genuinely brought our team together to design, source and make our entry. Thank you to Living Edge for the invite and congratulations to Levi by FK, crowned Top Dog by public vote! Living Edge Magis Official Guide Dogs Australia Indesign Media Asia Pacific

Last week our Associate Myra Murtagh attended a Symposium hosted by National Gallery of Victoria in partnership with RMIT University, to mark the opening of the exhibition Making Good: Redesigning the Everyday. A bumper range of panellists across the full day session unpicked a range of topics facing society and industry today, from the future of fashion to material innovation at scale and how we can better consider the role of food in our lives. Particular highlights included a jostling discussion on timber construction between Ross Harding and Joost Bakker, an in-depth look into responsible clothing for burial and how creating decentralised supply chains to allow manufacturing at the source is disrupting outdated systems. As a sobering opener, Andrew Simpson from Vert Design reflected on our collective suffering from a ‘crisis of imagination’, where we can more easily imagine a dystopian end of the world scenario than a more positive world where capitalism does not reign supreme. But as Senior Curator at the NGV Ewan McEoin confidently stated, we are moving forward, from design as a force of extraction to a force of regeneration. And this is the key take-away – despite challenges, every positive step we are taking in design, innovation, planning and inclusion means we are making good of a future world. The solutions included in the Making Good exhibition and as part of the Symposium discussions inspire with their real-world application and scalability, and ask us to carefully consider our responsibilities as people and practitioners.
