The Wishing Tree is a public, interactive art installation designed to amplify the voices of survivors, communities, and allies during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and aligns with the 2025 campaign theme of #NoExcuse. AI robots help produce A+ results with local Parramatta libraries adopting artificial intelligence to help Western Sydney kids get ahead in the classroom! ABii, the Smart Tutor Robot, is designed to help children aged 3-11 with STEM, reading and writing skills and is available to use for free at Epping, Wentworth Point and Parramatta branches. The program offers guided, step-by-step lessons that help young learners build confidence and master new skills at their own pace. Each session with ABii begins with a quick pre-assessment to tailor the learning experience. ABii then walks students through each concept, offering helpful tips, explanations, and even brain breaks to keep them focused. And when they succeed? ABii celebrates with a dance, a guitar solo, or a virtual high five! ABii is perfect for independent learners and supports learning in a way that’s engaging, encouraging, and fun!
