Over the past month, Wisconsin Athletics staff, student-athletes, coaches, and families teamed up with the Goodman Community Center to support our neighbors across Dane County. Through a series of community-driven initiatives including our holiday photoshoot donation drive, the annual Stuff the Field House match and a SAAC-led donation drive, we collected 1,528 pounds of food for Goodman’s Thanksgiving Basket program. Those efforts then came full circle as senior staff then assisted in organizing the donations before volunteers helped distribute meal kits to more than 4,000 families, ensuring our neighbors had what they needed for a meaningful Thanksgiving. #BadgersGiveBack

Ten years together. Ten years ahead. Wisconsin Athletics is proud to extend our partnership with Under Armour for another 10 years. Through this groundbreaking agreement, Under Armour will continue as the exclusive provider of footwear, apparel, accessories and game-day uniforms for all 23 of our Division I men’s and women’s programs. The extension also includes a significant investment in Wisconsin Athletics’ name, image, and likeness efforts, further strengthening an already robust NIL platform for our student-athletes. "I think that's one of the things that makes Wisconsin special. The values we have, the systems that have been put in place over the years to be successful, we have to continue to lean into those types of opportunities." On Friday during the WIAA State Football Championships, the School of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison's Badger Inquiry on Sports Research Lab brought coaches together from across Wisconsin, including Wisconsin Football, to talk implementing systems in the new era of football at both the high school and college level. 🔗 | https://bit.ly/3KfdaJx

Setting the Standard. For the eighth consecutive year, Wisconsin Athletics has achieved a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 90% or higher, with eleven teams scoring a perfect 100 and matching our highest score of 94 for two years in a row. GSR is an NCAA-required metric for all Division I student-athletes that reflects true, student-centered graduation, counting those who earn a degree from any four-year college within six years of initial enrollment. The average GSR for all NCAA Division I student-athletes is 90. 🔗 | https://bit.ly/4oOU1x3

“1, 2, 3… We want more!” ❤️ This weekend, Wisconsin Hockey proudly honored the legacy of Phil Dzick and his lasting impact on the program. The evening included a special ceremonial puck drop by his wife, Mary Lou. Fans also received replicas of his iconic 1,2 score cards. The night ended with a 6–5 overtime win against Ohio State. Phil, a 1969 University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, was a devoted supporter of Badger athletics, especially men’s and women’s hockey, football and volleyball. His passion for Wisconsin Athletics was evident to everyone who crossed his path. Phil sadly passed away on October 22 at the age of 81.
