اجتمع صحفيون ومؤسسات إعلامية من مختلف أنحاء إقليم كردستان العراق في أربيل، في ورشة عمل تشاورية استمرت يومين لمراجعة والمصادقة على مسودة "مدونة السلوك للصحفيين ووسائل الإعلام في إقليم كردستان #العراق" نُظمت الورشة كجزء من مشروع "مبادرات مكافحة الفساد والتحكيم" التابع لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي، وقامت بتنفيذها منظمة "الإعلام في التعاون والتحول" - شريكة البرنامج - بالتعاون الوثيق مع هيئة النزاهة في إقليم كردستان. يمثل هذا الحدث خطوة جوهرية نحو تعزيز الممارسات الإعلامية الأخلاقية والشفافة والخاضعة للمساءلة، مما يسهم في تعزيز الثقة العامة وتقوية الحكم الديمقراطي في المنطقة تضع مدونة السلوك إطاراً شاملاً للنزاهة الصحفية، وحماية حقوق الإنسان، والتغطية المسؤولة، وآليات التنظيم الذاتي. وتؤكد المدونة على الدقة، والتوازن، وحماية المصادر، ورفض التأثيرات السياسية أو التجارية غير المبررة، مع الحفاظ على كرامة الأفراد وتعزيز خطاب عام يتسم بالشمولية والتسامح https://go.undp.org/i2k Journalists and media institutions from across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) gathered in Erbil for a two-day consultative workshop to review and validate the draft Code of Conduct for Journalists and Media in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Organised as part of the EU-funded UNDP Anti-Corruption and Arbitration Initiatives Project (ACAI), the workshop was delivered by UNDP Iraq’s partner Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT), in close collaboration with the Kurdistan Region’s Commission of Integrity (COI). The event represents a key step towards advancing ethical, transparent, and accountable media practices that foster public trust and strengthen democratic governance in the region The Code of Conduct sets out a comprehensive framework for journalistic integrity, human rights protection, responsible reporting, and mechanisms for self-regulation. افتتح برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، بدعم من صندوق التكيف، وبالشراكة مع وزارة الإدارة المحلية والبيئة، ووزارة الطاقة والموارد المائية، ومحافظة ريف دمشق، محطة زبدين لمعالجة مياه الصرف الصحي في الغوطة الشرقية بريف دمشق. مثّل هذا الحدث خطوةً ملموسةً نحو التكيف مع تغير المناخ، والإدارة المستدامة للمياه، واستعادة سبل العيش في سوريا تم تنفيذ المشروع بفضل تمويل قدره 4.89 مليون دولار أمريكي من صندوق التكيف. وفي إطار هذا التدخل، أعاد برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي تأهيل 2.1 كيلومتر من شبكات الصرف الصحي و50.7 كيلومتر من قنوات الري، مما يضمن تدفقًا فعالًا لمياه الصرف الصحي وإعادة استخدامها بشكل آمن في الزراعة. تشكل هذه الجهود مجتمعةً العمود الفقري لنظام مستدام لإدارة المياه يدعم المزارعين، ويحمي الموارد الطبيعية، ويعزز القدرة المحلية على الصمود في وجه تغير المناخ The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the support of the Adaptation Fund, and in partnership with the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment (MoLAE), the Ministry of Energy for Water Resources and Rural Damascus Governorate, inaugurated the Zibdeen Wastewater Treatment Plant in Eastern Ghouta, Rural Damascus. The event marked a tangible step towards climate adaptation, sustainable water management, and livelihood recovery in #Syria The project was made possible through a US$4.89 million in funding from the Adaptation Fund. As part of the intervention, UNDP Syria rehabilitated 2.1 kilometres of sewage networks and 50.7 kilometres of irrigation canals, ensuring efficient wastewater flow and safe reuse in agriculture.
