The REAL Brawl of the Wild happened at RiverStone Health today! Our incredible staff hosted a Baked Potato Bar Showdown to kick off Cat–Griz weekend in the most delicious way possible. Team GRIZ and Team CATS faced off not on the field, but over toppings like bacon, chili, and cheese with all the spuds your heart could want. It was the perfect way to celebrate teamwork, Montana pride and a little friendly rivalry before the big game this weekend! Which side are you on? #GoCats or #GoGriz?

The holidays are a time for gathering, laughter and sharing good food. But nothing spoils a celebration faster than a case of foodborne illness. While most of us trust the food we buy from the store, the biggest safety risk starts once that food reaches our kitchens. Manhattan Bach, a sanitarian-in-training at RiverStone Health Environmental Health Services, highlights safety steps to keep your holidays merry and your guests healthy. RiverStone Health is proud to donate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Lockwood Little League, helping ensure players, families and fans have lifesaving support close at hand if it’s ever needed. “Having immediate access to lifesaving tools like an AED or Narcan can make all the difference in a medical emergency,” said Jon Forte, CEO of RiverStone Health. “We’re honored to support Lockwood Little League and help strengthen the health and safety of our community.” Lockwood Little League has 25 teams of all ages who play at their fields on Old Hardin Road. "There are a lot of kids, coaches and fans here in the summer," said Lockwood Little League President Leslie Anderson. "We hope we never have to use it, but we want to be prepared." In addition to the AED that will be stored in the concession stand, RiverStone Health is also donated Narcan. Narcan, the brand name for naloxone, is a medication that can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Both items play an essential role in community preparedness and emergency response. Together, we’re building a healthier, safer Yellowstone County, one heartbeat at a time.

Whether it is recovering from an accident or injury or end-of-life care, navigating the healthcare system can be daunting for patients and their loved ones. Each November, we recognize National Home Health and Hospice Month and the incredible work of healthcare professionals who provide compassionate care to patients and families in their homes.
